Weekly work will include effective warmups, getting to the core emotions of a musical theatre song, telling the character’s story, song stylization, how to convey your performance to the audience, playing to the back of the house, and more! At the end of the four-week class, singers will perform in a showcase. For this class, it is suggested that singers bring a song to class they already know and would like to work with in-depth.
